Prior to dental school, she completed 2 years of graduate work in Neurobiology and Molecular Biology at the University of Washington. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology,  a minor in Chemistry, and a minor in Music Performance. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle Pacific University, and prior to that attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa for 3 years in pursuit of her Bachelor’s of Biology degree. At Graceland, she ran Women’s Cross Country and Track, was a Student Senator, a member of the Graceland Gadet dance team, and a founding member and co-president of the Graceland Science Club. She was born and raised in Colorado, and loves living in the West.

Since receiving her doctorate, she’s continued to stay informed of the latest dental techniques and scientific research through the most respected continuing education leaders and study clubs such as the Kois Institute, The Pankey Institute, The Seattle Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, Implants Live Northwest, and others.

She and her husband Chad Robbs have made Big Sky their permanent residence, and live here in the Meadow year-round. They were married in 2016 at Big Sky’s picturesque Soldiers’ Chapel. They love the ease of being able to hop on a bike to get around Big Sky in the warmer months to commute to the office, Caliber Coffee, or the Hungry Moose, and in the winter time being minutes from a chairlift or cross country trail. Dr. Chapman enjoys gardening, travel, music, skiing, biking, healthy cooking and fitness, sewing, and planning the next adventure race or rocking climbing trip.

Other Practice Information:
Mountain Pearls’ goal is to provide Big Sky residents and visitors with a fresh approach to comprehensive dentistry and relaxing dental visits. From the massaging recliner in the waiting area before your appointment, ample one-on-one time with the doctor during your visit, and hot steam towel at the end of your visit, this isn’t ‘business as usual’. You can be assured that you are in experienced hands, committed to the highest standards and quality available in modern dentistry.

We are committed to using and supporting environmentally sustainable products whenever possible, and whenever the quality of the product is at least equal if not superior to traditional products. Instead of plastic disposable giveaway toothbrushes, we provide our patients with biodegradable bamboo toothbrushes with bristles made from castor beans, and instead of only providing mainstream toothpaste products which contain ingredients many people would like to avoid such as carageenan, detergents such as SLS, artificial colorants, preservatives, phthalates, BPA, artificial sweeteners and plastic beads, we also provide samples of other outstanding toothpaste brands such as Hello and Dr. Bronner’s. All composite filling materials are of the highest quality and BPA-free. Our digital xrays not only drastically decrease the radiation exposure to patients (as low as 10% of the exposure compared to traditional films), they also eliminate the need for toxic fixing and developing solutions to be kept on site and then disposed of as hazardous materials later.

Let’s all remember what we love about Montana and why we came here : the beauty of its natural environment and abundant wildlife. Mountain Pearls does everything it can to preserve that for future generations, and wants to encourage others to do the same.
