Thank you to all our existing patients for helping us maintain the highest level of safety for our community, and compliance with office screening protocols and requirements. We know you’re concerned about maintaining your oral health while simultaneously being able to stay safe, and we share those concerns. We’ve been so happy to see you all coming back!
Since re-opening on an originally reduced schedule for safety, we have gradually ramped up to new patient visits, regular cleanings and check-ups. All procedures and treatments are now being offered. We are scheduling slightly differently in order to allow for appropriate physical distancing requirements, and appropriate sterilization and disinfection activities, and will work with you to find a convenient appointment time.
Safety and comfort for both our patients and staff are our top priority. We’ve always practiced the highest levels of infection control and even exceeded recommendations by the CDC and American Dental Association to ensure everyone’s safety. Now in the realm of COVID, we are elevating even those best practices. We’re happy to answer any questions, and will review some of those new things with you before your appointment.
- PLEASE NOTE – We are maintaining the 14 day quarantine for anyone who has been outside the state of Montana, for any reason, prior to all appointments. The alternative to this is to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test result, with the test having been administered after you entered Montana and results being no more than 1 week old. We understand there are many different methods and reasons for travel both inside and outside of our community, and that conditions can and have been changing in all communities from week to week and month to month. However, we’ve implemented and maintained this rigorous policy along with our screening procedures since re-opening in May 2020 without a single office closure due to an employee or patient COVID case. We are 100% committed to upholding this standard so we can continue to safely provide services for everyone who lives in or visits Big Sky, as it’s only full-time dental practice. If you are in need of dental services and cannot meet the criteria for either having been in the state for 14 days, vaccination, or providing a negative COVID test result since entering, we will provide information for other dental offices that may be able to assist you. We apologize for any inconvenience, and will appreciate your recognition of the unique challenges the pandemic has created.
We know going to the dentist for some people can be anxiety-producing, but we’re here to make it easier, educational, or even enjoyable for you.
We take a different approach to appointments. We’ve always scheduled for increased patient-provider time and plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions so you can fully understand your oral health. Our office is happy to announce that our hot UV sanitized steam towels, fresh baked cookies, and hot tea have returned after some modifications to ensure COVID safety. Other beloved amenities such as our heated massaging recliner and relaxation room are still temporarily suspended until we can safely provide them again, but we promise they’ll all be coming back!
We are not contracted or in-network with any insurance plans and require payment at the time of service. We are often able to electronically file insurance claims for you depending on your plan, instructing them to send a reimbursement check to you directly.
